On October 31, 2019 Adobe released an enhancement for Audience Manager that enables AAM customers to intelligently discover relevant 3 party data feeds to build more targeted segments. This enhancement is powered by Trait Recommendations, an Adobe Sensei feature, and impacts two features in the Audience Manager UI:
- Segment Builder: When traits are added to a segment, a table with recommendations appears in real-time, pulling from all unsubscribed marketplace data feeds. These recommendations are ranked based on a similarity score against the largest traits included in the segment. Check out this page to see what AAM customers will see.
- Audience Marketplace: This enhancement will introduce new filters to Audience Marketplace. When a segment or trait is entered into the filter titled “Similarity To”, Audience Marketplace will surface recommended feeds and corresponding traits. Additional filters will allow customers to narrow results based on the similarity score, subscription status, use case, and pricing model, eliminating the need to sift through a large number of feeds to find relevant data. Customers will not be able to use your data without a subscription. There is an option to subscribe to a recommended data feed directly from either interface to make it easier for customers to purchase one of your feeds.
The trait similarity score is calculated using the overlap between the AAM UUIDs that belong to your Marketplace trait and the AAM UUIDs that belong to the customer’s traits. See this product documentation for a more thorough description of how the score is calculated.
