What are the benefits of being an Innovate Partner?
For a complete listing of our Adobe Exchange Innovate Partner benefits, visit the Adobe Exchange Program partner portal here.
How do I upgrade to Innovate and what payment methods do you offer?
We currently offer credit card, Paypal, and Amazon Pay. Reference to this help article on how to make payment.
What happens if I don’t make the annual Innovate fee payment at the end of the six-month free trial?
This means that you will lose your partner status as an Innovate Partner and become an Adobe Exchange Member. Being in the free tier means you will lose your partner benefits, including sandbox access and Magento Enterprise Edition repo download access. In addition to losing sandbox access, your Adobe Exchange Marketplace listing will become a private link, and it will not be publicly viewable or searchable.
If I miss the six-month cut-off date, can I come back later and pay the annual Innovate fee?
Yes. You will continue to have access to the Exchange Partner Portal and the ability to make a payment. Your account will be up-leveled to an Innovate Partner, and all your benefits will be reinstated once payment is complete.
I did not make payment to remain in the Partner Program as an Innovate partner – what will happen to my Exchange Listing?
Your listing will become private but you will still have a sharable link to your application listing. If you choose to stay at the Exchange Member partner level you can still create and update your listing, and you can also share that listing. On March 12th 2021, partners that are not at the Innovate or higher tier will have their public listings converted to a private listing. The listing won’t show or be searchable in the Adobe Exchange Marketplace, but you will have a link to share. To get your shareable link, login to the partner portal, click on App Manager, select your application, and select the "more" button, there you will be able to copy your App URL for sharing.
Note: If you have concerns about your Audience Manager or Launch extension, please inquire with Adobe Exchange Support for next steps. Magento Marketplace listings are NOT made private, and are available to all partners and developers to create!
I just made my payment at the end of my Innovate six-month trial to remain in the Adobe Exchange Innovate Partner Program. When is my next payment due?
We’ll use 2 examples to help illustrate payment due dates:
- Example 1 – Net new partner
Say you are new to the program and sign up on January 1, 2021. Your payment of $10,000 is due six months later at the end of your free Innovate trial. Then, six months later, your annual payment of $10,000 will be due on January 1, 2022. All subsequent annual renewal payments will be due on January 1st . The initial payment is delayed six months to give you time to build your integration and determine whether an Innovate partnership with Adobe Exchange is the right choice for you.
- Example 2 – Legacy partner
If you have been a member of any Adobe, Marketo, or Magento technology partner programs previously, and sign up on January 1, 2021, then your $10,000 payment is due on the sign up date. All subsequent annual renewal payments will be due on January 1st.
Once I make my Innovate partnership payment, do I get an assigned Alliance Manager? What if I still have questions?
The Innovate program is a self-service partner level. However, you do have access to Adobe Exchange Support, as well as Magento extension listing support.
I have decided that I do not want to remain in the Innovate program at the end of my Innovate six-month trial, what do I do?
We have a helpful article that explains how you can opt out of Innovate during your six-month trial. You will need to use this form to opt out of the program.
Do I need to upgrade to Innovate to keep my sandbox if I am working with the Adobe team on an Adobe Audience Manager (AAM) data integration ?
As long as you have signed the Audience Manager Integration contract, are in the queue for your integration or are maintaining a current AAM integrated solution, you will retain access to any needed AAM sandbox features. For AAM Marketplace sellers this means you will retain access to the AAM UI that allows you to manage your data offering and your subscriptions.
